Terms of Service

The agreement between WeConnect and the cafes that use it.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. Who this agreement is between

These terms are between Osman Batuhan Ural, trading as WeConnect, a sole trader in the United Kingdom at Flat 103, Northways Parade, 22 College Crescent, London NW3 5DR ("we", "us"), and the business that opens a WeConnect account ("you", "the cafe").

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

These terms are for businesses. Your customers do not enter into this agreement — their relationship is with you, and their data is covered by our Privacy Policy.

2. What we provide

WeConnect gives your cafe a WhatsApp-based service that can include:

Which of these are switched on depends on your plan and your settings. We may add, change or retire features as the product develops; if we remove something you actively rely on, we will tell you first.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your login details and for everything done through your account. Keep passwords private, give staff their own access rather than sharing one login, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

You must give accurate details when signing up and keep them current — we use them to reach you about the service and about billing.

4. Plans and message credits

Marketing messages are paid for with credits. One credit is one campaign message delivered to one customer.

What it coversCosts credits?
A customer messages you and you replyNo
Loyalty cards, stamps and rewardsNo
Menu, bookings and pre-ordersNo
A campaign or promo you broadcastYes — one per recipient

Your plan may include a monthly credit allowance, and you can top up at any time. We check your balance before a broadcast starts, so a campaign never runs halfway through and stops.

Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between cafes. Unused credits carry over while your account is active; on closure they expire.

5. Payment

Fees are those quoted to you when you sign up or top up, in pounds sterling. Subscription fees are payable in advance for each billing period and credit top-ups are payable up front.

If a payment fails we may pause campaign sending until it is settled. Your loyalty cards, menu, bookings and pre-orders keep working — we will not cut off your customers because of a billing problem between us.

We may change our prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Your responsibilities

You decide what is sent to your customers, so these are yours to get right:

Consent

Only send marketing to customers who opted in to receive it. Under UK law (GDPR and PECR) a loyalty sign-up is not by itself consent to marketing. You must honour opt-outs; the service handles STOP automatically, and you must not message anyone who has used it.

Content

Everything you send or upload must be lawful, accurate and yours to use. No content that is misleading, offensive, infringes someone's rights, or breaches the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy — which applies to you as well as to us.

Your phone number

You must be entitled to use the WhatsApp number connected to your account. Meta sets messaging limits and quality ratings per number; repeated blocks or reports by recipients can get your number restricted or banned by Meta, and that outcome is not something we can reverse.

Fair use

Do not use the service to send bulk unsolicited messages, to resell access without our agreement, or in a way that puts our platform's standing with Meta at risk.

7. Data protection

For your customers' personal data you are the controller and we are the processor: you decide why it is used, we handle it on your instructions. We process it only to provide the service, and we do not use your customers' data for our own marketing or share it with other cafes.

UK GDPR requires a written processing agreement between us. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we do with data; a separate data processing agreement forms part of these terms and is available on request.

You confirm you have a lawful basis for the customer data you put into the service, and for any marketing you ask us to send.

8. Dependence on WhatsApp and Meta

This service runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta controls message delivery, template approvals, per-message pricing, messaging limits and account standing — and we do not control any of them.

In practice this means we cannot promise that a marketing template will be approved, how long approval will take, or that Meta's pricing and limits will stay as they are. Where Meta suspends or restricts your number or our platform, the service may be interrupted through no fault of either of us.

Meta charges per delivered marketing message, and those charges depend on your customers' country. We pass this on through credit pricing and will tell you if Meta's rates change materially.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep the service running, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen; where we plan work that will interrupt the service, we will give notice where we reasonably can.

Support is by email at osmanbatu9898@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one working day.

10. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We do not refund the period already paid for, and we do not lock you into a minimum term.

We may suspend or end your account if you breach these terms, if payment stays unresolved after we have asked, or if your use puts our platform's standing with Meta at risk. Except where the breach is serious, we will tell you and give you a chance to put it right first.

When an account closes we delete or return its customer data within 90 days. Ask before then if you want an export.

11. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost data.

We are not liable for what Meta does — including message delivery failures, template rejections, pricing changes, or restrictions Meta places on your WhatsApp number.

You are responsible for the messages you send, and for any claim or penalty arising from marketing sent without proper consent.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for changes that materially affect you we will give at least 30 days' notice by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
